Cancellation Policy

For Services Over $100:

1. **Reservation Credit Requirement**: A non-refundable reservation credit of 50% of the total service cost is required to be placed at the time of booking for all services priced over $100. This credit will be applied to the total amount due for your appointment at checkout. This credit secures your appointment and ensures that we can allocate the necessary resources for your visit.

2. **Cancellation and Rescheduling**: We understand that circumstances can change. However, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel/reschedule your appointment within 24 hours or do not show up for your appointment, your credit will be forfeited and applied as a cancellation fee. 

For Services All Other Services:

  1. **Card On File Requirement**: A card on file is required at the time of booking for all services to secure your appointment time.

  2. **Cancellation and Rescheduling**: We understand that circumstances can change. However, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel/reschedule your appointment within 24 hours or do not show up for your appointment, your card on file will be charged a cancellation fee totaling 50% of the services scheduled. This charge is taken as a nonrefundable, nontransferable cancellation fee that cannot be applied to future services. 

  3. **Card Declined**: In the event that your card is invalid or declines, you will be required to pay the 50% cancellation fee for the missed appointment/late cancellation prior to booking future appointments.

Grace Period:

Roots Beauty Studio allows a 15 minute grace period for any services book for 60+ minutes. Arriving more than 15 minutes late will be considered a no show and the cancellation policies above will be applied.

About the Policy

Your appointments are very important to our stylists, although the time is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellation.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without adequate notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment that could have been booked weeks or months in advance.

At Roots Beauty Studio, we strive to provide exceptional services and a seamless experience for our clients. To help us maintain our schedule and ensure availability, we have implemented the policies above.

Extenuating Circumstances

If you need to cancel an appointment outside of our normal business hours, you may leave us a voicemail at (970) 484-2119 or send an email to rootsbeautystudio@gmail.com to inform us of an appointment cancellation. Voicemails and emails received outside of the 24 hour cancellation period will be accepted and result in no cancellation fee. Please be sure to include your name and appointment details (date and time) in voicemail/email to ensure cancellation.
